ADMC PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE

The Area Development and Management Consulting (ADMC) aims to protect and manage environment and natural resources for improved livelihoods on sustainable basis under the changing socio-economic and climatic conditions. We at ADMC are resolved: a) to bring together pool of local experts and build their competence for the sustainable development of the area; b) to use their knowledge and competence “for the betterment of their own people”; c) to build resilience of the local population (women and men) through introduction of innovative approaches for sustained rural development and natural resource conservation; d) to generate and document knowledge and experiences and share the knowledge with all stakeholders.


ADMC and its associates have main expertise in the following areas: 

 


M&E

  • Monitoring and Evaluation (including developing participatory M&E systems/ indicators, capacity building in M&E, third party monitoring, external evaluation).
  • Organizing and conducting socio-economic/ baseline/ impact surveys through participatory methods (PRA/RRA) using semi-structured and structured survey tools.

    

 

Technical Fields:

  • Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation
  • Disaster Risk Reduction/ Management (including CBDRM)
  • Sustainable natural resources and biodiversity management 
  • Awareness raising, capacity building/training and generation of research knowledge on NRM, Water, agriculture/ farming systems, market analysis, Disaster Risk Management, Climate Change and biodiversity conservation.  

Relevant Experience


Over the past 20 years the ADMC Affiliates have delivered quality services to the best satisfaction of its clients and worked with various organizations on project management related to environmental/ biodiversity management, livelihoods and climate change adaptation research, disaster risk management and M&E. ADMC worked and provided consultancy services to various organizations during 2013 and 2014. These included BKP project of GIZ in KPK, EU funded TVET project of Oxfam Novib in Sindh Province, Carbon Finance Fund of World Bank Washington (Review of Pakistan REDD+ Preparedness Project Proposal), Rehabilitation project of Rural Development Policy Institute (RDPI) and Plan International in Punjab Province, Livelihoods Programme Hindukush, Swiss Intercooperation (IC), KPK Province, ACF International (agro-forestry study), KPK Province. In addition, the ADMC staff is implementing partner of MI for the Food Security and community based DRR project in Chail Valley Swat. The project was initiated in 2011 after 2010 floods with new phase since August 2014. The project is funded by the World Food Program (WFP) and Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC), Pakistan.
